April Update

Welcome to the beginning of April and with the Easter Break fast approaching along with another long weekend {ANZAC} there is alot of jobs that can be done outdoors before winter .

With your Flowering Shrubs such as Hydrangea and Hebbes now is a good time to Prune them once flowering has finished along with any Summer perennials – all fine to go in a GREENIE GARDEN BIN.  With that done you may want to add colour  ,look at brightening up  the garden/patio with winter flowering annuals

Also with the drought conditions we’ve experienced in last few months its time to give some love & care back to the lawn so look to sow new lawn or repair bare patches

For Fruit and Vegetables you can look to plant winter vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, celery, kale & silverbeet.  Now is also a great time to plant citrus including lemon ,orange lime & mandarin . Summerfruit pruning can take place now as well

So lots of jobs and plenty of time with these 2 long weekends in a row – Enjoy !!
