December is the Month to tend to your veggie patch.

Key things are to Water ,Weed & Feed.    Concentrating on just the watering of your veggie patch – water is the lifeline of the veggie garden in summer, its best to do a heavy water every few days rather than a little everyday as this encourages plants to develop deeper roots . The Best time of day to water is early morning or if you’re like me ,during the late afternoon/early evening with a Glass of your favorite Beverage . another handy tip is to avoid wetting foliage of veggies such as Tomatoes & Cucumbers as this avoids the spread of fungal diseases.
